Strength – of a different sort

During & after your pregnancy, your pelvic floor muscles & your pelvic floor exercises are of great concern.

Well, tonight, mine have had the biggest test yet. I went out for my second night out since having Baby Girl. I had three beers. (The most I’ve drunk in just under a year.) The plan was to be home by midnight, just in case. Thanks to the delights of London buses & tubes, it took me an hour & a half to get home. About ten minutes into that, I realised I needed to pee.

Only a woman who’s been pregnant will probably appreciate this blog post & the effort it took not to wet myself. And the sense of achievement that I made it home.

And all this in 4 inch heels. Sometimes you really have to wonder how women were ever considered the weaker sex!
